Brass Bookcases & Living Room Shelving
A solid brass frame with timber shelves turns a wall of books into a piece of architecture. Our shelving systems make bookcases for studies, living rooms, alcoves and full library walls.
Every frame is machined, finished by hand and assembled in our Staffordshire workshop, in Satin Brass, Antique Brass, Bronze or Gun Metal. Pair it with our oak shelves, or have your joiner make shelves to match the rest of the room.
Choose a standard size, put units side by side for a whole wall, or send us your measurements and we will make it to fit.
The detail
Photographed in our workshop. Every connector is turned and machined from solid brass, then finished by hand.
Brass and oak
Brass and oak is the classic pairing for a bookcase: the warmth of the timber against the glow of the brushed metal. We offer shelves in Light Oak and Dark Oak, as well as glass and metal.
Most of our customers supply their own shelves, so they match the floor, the joinery or a favourite timber such as walnut. The frame is made to take them, and we send a drawing to sign off before anything is made.
