Every Brass+Co system is built to order. We work within proven proportions, then tailor height, shelf count and fixing detail to your space.
Suspended brass uprights drop from the ceiling to support low-iron glass shelves. The result is a floating bar or island display without bulky cabinetry.
• Ideal above kitchen islands, pass-throughs, and front/back bar counters.
• Clean sightlines through to the room beyond.
• Anchors into the ceiling with discreet machined collars in warm brass.
Widths: 600 / 750 / 1000 / 1200 mm (custom available)
Height: up to 1524 mm overall
Shelf depth: ~250 mm
Shelf spacing: typically ~300 mm clear between shelves
Shelf count: 1–4
Structure: We’ll specify the fixing points so your builder can add hidden structure (ply or steel) above plaster before completion. These shelves carry real weight — bottles, glassware — so blocking matters.
Finishes: Our warm brass finish is sealed to slow patina and reduce fingerprints. Low-iron glass is toughened, polished and easy to clean.
Clearances: We’ll advise ideal hanging height: typically 450–600 mm above a kitchen worktop, or 600–750 mm above an island / bar counter so you still have working access below.
Slim uprights fasten back to the wall, sitting just proud on discreet standoffs. The look is architectural and precise, with no chunky brackets.
• Perfect for back bars, behind cookers, above a stone splashback, vanity / utility rooms, or retail shelving.
• Keeps work surfaces clear while putting glassware and objects on show.

Surfaces: We regularly mount into tile, stone, mirror, plasterboard and brick. We’ll confirm fixing type and load path so it’s safe, not just pretty.
Back bar setups: We can size the bottom shelf clearance specifically for taller spirit bottles and decanters.
Cleaning: Wipe brass with a soft microfibre cloth. Use glass cleaner on the cloth, not sprayed directly onto the brass hardware.
A hybrid frame that drops from the ceiling and also bears on the wall. Visually light, structurally confident.
• Best for full-height wall displays in kitchens, bars and retail.
• Excellent where you have mirror or premium stone behind and want minimal brackets in view.
• Allows taller overall spans without relying only on the ceiling.

Hybrid = stability: By tying into both the ceiling and the wall, we spread load and limit flex. This is ideal where ceilings alone can’t carry everything.
Visual impact: The vertical brass lines act like a frame around your bottles, ceramics or product. The glass shelves read almost invisible.
Finish consistency: All exposed metal is finished together so tone matches — no “mismatched brackets.”
We work to four core widths for clarity and repeatability. Heights are cut to suit, up to 1524 mm overall.
